How to Use This Book & Terminology Conventions
0.1 版面与标记说明Layout & Marker Conventions
This book uses a fixed two-column bilingual layout. The left column keeps the original
English wording of the Yaesu manuals; the right column gives the Chinese translation.
Keeping the original on the page lets you cross-check every parameter value against the
factory document, and lets you quote the exact English menu names when asking for help
on forums.
本书采用固定的中英对照双栏版式：左栏保留八重洲原厂手册的英文原文，右栏给出中文译文。
把原文留在同一页上，一是不必担心译文与手册数值出现偏差，二是当你需要在论坛提问时，
可以直接引用原厂的英文菜单名，不会被”翻译过的名字”卡住。

Content in this book carries three confidence levels: (1) the factory text itself (the bilingual pairs),
(2) factory cautions (blue NOTE boxes), and (3) community field practice (green/amber/red boxes). When a community note
conflicts with your factory manual, the manual wins.
0.2 术语翻译约定Terminology Conventions
Amateur radio has an established set of abbreviations that every operator uses regardless of
language. Translating them would make the book harder to use — a Chinese operator searching
for “SQL” online will find far more than one searching for a translated term. Therefore all
standard abbreviations are kept in English throughout, with the Chinese meaning given at first
occurrence and collected in Appendix C.
业余无线电的缩写术语是全球统一的，译成中文反而会让这本书更难用：
你在网络上搜 “SQL” 能找到大量资料，搜一个自造的中文译名则几乎什么都搜不到。
因此本书对标准缩写一律保留英文原词，首次出现时在括号内给出中文含义，并在
附录 C《术语与缩写对照表》中集中列出。

附录 A《设置菜单中英速查表》收录了 FTX-1 全部菜单条目、可用设置与默认值（默认值以粗体标记），
并为每一条配上中文名与一句话说明。它刻意做成”速查表”而不是”逐条详解”——目的是让你在机器前能一页查到要改哪一项；
至于每一项背后的完整逻辑与操作流程，请按附录 E 的页码索引回到原厂手册对应页面，或查阅本书对应章节。
Appendix A is deliberately a quick-reference table, not a full item-by-item tutorial: it lists every menu
item, its available settings and defaults, plus a Chinese name and one-line description. For the full rationale and procedure
behind any item, use the page index in Appendix E.
